How does selling a watch in Miami work?
There are two ways to sell. In person, you book a time, bring the watch to the Seybold office, and our watchmakers authenticate and inspect it before a market-based offer and payment. By mail, you send details and photos through the sell or trade form, receive an offer, ship the watch with our prepaid, insured overnight label, and payment is deposited promptly once it's received and authenticated.
What affects the offer?
The brand, model and reference come first, then the year, the condition, and whether the box and papers are present. Demand for that particular reference matters as well. A Tudor Black Bay 58 and an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch are each valued against their own market. How we work out the figure is set out on how our valuation process works.
Do you need box and papers?
No. The Timeless Collector buys watches with or without box and papers. Bring or send whatever you have, including service records, because a fuller set usually supports a stronger offer.

Yes. Any watch we buy can go toward another as a trade-in, whether that's a piece from the collection or one we source for you.
